Awesome video, good take off and landing. When you get a fresh snow, could do a bunch of landing and take off in perfect uncut snow.
It's funny you say that cuz I have those days where flying is like a foreign language, the next day you can land a plane in the same spot 3 times in a row. Two days a go I crashed two planes, one fatal. Today was the opposite side of the spectrum, 3 batts and zero dings.

Funny, I thought I was the only one with this problem. If I fly a lot in a short period, I typically do well but give me 2 weeks off and look out! What plane did you crash fatal?

It was the Goblin. It crashed twice, first time it was tail heavy so I had to let it go and try to glide it in. Once I got it set up with the correct CG I sent it back up and the spar snapped. For a plane like that with that much weight I should have CF to stiffen up the spar.

Yea it sucked, I really liked that one. Get this, I was talking the plane up and how many successful flights I had and how I wanted to put the camera on it to a buddy that I brought to the field that day. Then it showed him that I was a liar, always chokes in front of people lol

As someone who has built loads of these and flown them almost every day for the last 3 years i have tried all manor of things and this is the specs i recommend:

Servos -12g metal gear!
Motors - i use both 2212 1400kv and 2830 1300kv
Props - I run 9x5
Much bigger battery's! - the smallest i run is a 2700mah 3s and the largest is a 4200mah 3s!,

The Cub loves an all up weight of 890g with a 2700mah 3s but will fly on a 4200mah 3s and an all up weight of 1.1kg!

Here is a complete list of my own Cub's specs and links to each item:

MG90s Metal gear servos, ESSENTIAL!!!!

Racerstar 2212 1400kv motor

9x5 Prop

30A esc

Batterys i fly the cub on:
2700mah 3s

Just placed an order using these to make my MUCH cheaper C Packs.

Was able to get 2 motors, 2 escs, 2 batteries, 8 metal gear servos, 2 receivers, a low voltage alarm, and 20 props for around $100.

Thanks so much for the suggestions

Looks like it flew great
It did, I liked it, but this was before I got a new Tx so it could have lasted a lot longer lol. Loss of signal got so frustrating, hits you out of no where, you don't expect it. It happened a lot. I am able to keep planes longer now. Comparatively if I still used the same Tx, The Kitfox, the Bloody Baron, and the FT-3D would be done already. It was hard to keep a good plane, roll of the dice every time you chuck one up.

I want to do more wings, they haven't beaten me yet. I will win this battle !

Do you fly wings?
I have a few wings , I did a few versions of the Gotha P60 which was my favorite only have 1 left though :D . It is a midmount with the standard mix in the ailerons but to give me a bit more security I add a elevator dead center at the back . I did it also with twin 2836 3000kv Paidiss motors , dual batteries and true airfoil design. That one went like stink but it also tried to cut my hand apart :D I did another with true airfoil but as a tractor, never could get it to fly right so into the trash.
