I tried my kids on the old speedster. And we added a top wing to turn it into a biplane. Very floaty and slow.

Awesome job!! As a flyer and the Dad who's teaching!! Did you just duplicate the wing? How'd you mount it? I was thinking of doing that to the mini speedster and was looking for ideas how yo mount it and with what.

Instead of using barbeque skewers I went with chop sticks for a little more strength. The top wing is a duplicate of the bottom with an extra 2 inches added. Got the idea from Dr. Looping Louie. Can find him here in the forums and on youtube. He did it to the mini version.

Now that's a floaty trainer! It looks great built as a biplane.
