FT Explorer with Bixler 2 power?

I have a Bixler 2 with the recommended 1300 kv motor. It has always performed well for the type of plane.

Has anyone retired their Bixler and swapped the components into an Explorer? Motor specifically, it doesn't match what the Explorer calls for. My (second) Bixler is nearing the end of it's life and I'll have to retire it soon.

Should be fine - if you're worried about the higher KV rating, just prop down a step.
