Great, congrats! In finally got my CG right, I think. Turns out the reason for the instability last time was a loose motor mount.. see attached where I marked my CG (blue dot on the small triangle part of the wing) and also my makeshift "ballast".. it is not stupid if it works ! I added some more footage showing the newfound agility.. with full throttle at least half of the time. It goes fast on barrel roll but is starting to struggle on the looping. This time, with more aggressive stabilization of the video.

That was some fun flying. Which Flerken are you flying? the twin motor one? it sounds very different from mine. Great job on getting the difficulty figured out.

This is just a standard Flerken with one pusher motor. I‘m not sure why it makes so much noise.

Due to the fact pusher propellers hit the disturbed air from the fuselage or wing, they will usally always be louder than tractor (puller) planes.

I'm using the analog aio camera/vtx that Flite Test sells with the EMAX Transporter 2 goggles/dvr. I used this same set up with my little Air65 drone that I just got (it came with an analog camera). It's certainly not digital, but it's inexpensive and gets me fpv quickly. I spent 5 hours on a sim and then went out and got this footage last night with the drone.

I've finally learned how to land my flerken. Usually my flerken stops when it hits the fence. If not that, it tumbles to a stop. I've finally learned. I hope it stays learned.

This is my second flerken. I had many flights (and crashes) with my first and it finally wouldn't fly anymore. I bought this one hoping to have a long relationship with it and keep it looking good. On my maiden it was nose heavy. As I desperately tried to keep in in the air and bring it around to me it hit a power line and tore a wing and one side almost completely off. It was one of those pretend-you-don't-feel-like-crying moments. I thought it was unfixable, but it's amazing how they can come back together. But my new flerken already looks like the old one. It still flies beautifully, though.

Here's my second Flerken after tearing her in half on my maiden flight. She cleans up well. So much fun to fly. There's no aura board in it anymore. She's responsive, but stable.

Nice flying! I agree, getting them in the air is the hardest part haha.

My second Millennial Flerken is history. Dang. I love flying that thing. The only problem I have with the Flerken is finding center of gravity. My first flight with this one was nose heavy ending in shredding a wing on a power line. After repairs I found the cog and had several really great flights. The nose got crunched on one bad flight (tail heavy). I found the cog again and had several more great flights. This last flight was tail heavy and did the take off loop into the ground thing. Split open like a hard boiled egg. I swear I had the battery within a quarter inch of the last flight's position. The cog seems to move from flight to flight (which is ridiculous unless something physically changed about the wing. Have any of you Flerken flyers had any problems with cog? I have ordered another one, I love flying it so much. I would like to have one that flies, uncrashed, for long awhile.
