Hello all, the maiden of FT Flyer modification with aileron being added ,and dihedral removed with bamboo skewers as wing spar and tail spar under 25km/h wind was a success.
The aileron had a remarkable effect on the plane and it is good addition for beginners.
With no dihedral, it was not self correcting when banking, so we can learn how to bank.
The plane was literally stumbling to stay afloat with 2S battery. When 3S was used it was blasting against the wind.
6045 tri blade propeller was used and its the best under heavy wind.
6045 two blade propeller was stumbling in this wind, and definitely it is recommended only for no wind condition.
