FT gremlin, help me!

can somebody help me? I decided for my first quad build was to build an FT gremlin but when I tried to flash the board, the computer wouldn't read it. Without the two pads being shorted the board works fine but if its shorted, the light comes on but the computer doesn't read it. anybody know how to help me?

So it does it show up as DFU mode when the boot pad are jumped?

Id use the Impulse Alien Drivers tool first

I would so recommend following this video to enable flip over after crash mode if you're building a gremlin. It's a must have for me.
