FT Jousting!

OK, so this is what happens when I watch the first half of "Uchuu no Stellvia", and then finish off the night with a glass (or more) of wine whilst watching "A Knight's Tale"...

Two or more of the FT cast make a plane each with some kind of lance attached to it on an angle (maybe one on each side for balancing reasons) and runs down one side of a thin divide at each other, to knock off avertical target like the opponents rudder or something. Three runs each, last surviving plane (as in still flyable) wins. Obviously it would have to be done with some kind of slow flier, but I'm sure you guys can figure it out!

Multirotors. Not enough multirotor combat in the world. Wouldn't be hard to add a light stick onto an FPV tricopter and fly that straight at another one and try to get the stick in a prop to knock it out of the sky. Or a wire since the point is to disrupt a prop enough for a tricopter to fall. Hopefully at a low altitude so the only damage would be a prop.

That would be an amazing episode. Or maybe a brand new sport?

Yeah, that would be good too! But I do insist on the divider between them, otherwise it's just 2 aircraft smashing into each other, and the FT guys already do enough of that on their own!

Of maybe do away with the divider, and have 2multirotors poking each other, but not at the expence of damaging your own aircraft... FT Fencing!

I like it! And that is what I want kind of imagining. The two multirotors trying to sneak a quick jab at a prop without the other one's "sword" snagging their props.

Jousting with planes would be fun too, but that is just going to be a lot of misses and then an epic head on collision with no winner. Except the viewers. We'd all win with an epic head on collision.

Very true!!

Along the sword idea, could also make an "angry swordsman meet Star Wars"... There are these Training balls put microquads in... Have one fly around someone blindfolded that has to try and hit it. The ball would protect the quad used qs much as the blind swordsman from a prop. I guess it could also be called "FT Piñata"
