FT Racer Hybrid

No matter what I do I can’t seem to get posterboard to look good on early FT builds. Same goes for foam board with the paper removed from one side. I’ve been designing 3D printed planes lately that are hybrid with foam wings and hstab to keep weight down.

I decided to take the FT Racer and 3D print the top curved parts. Designed in a hatch as well. Need to decide if I want to use a power pod but otherwise almost done.

Design is using Fusion360 with vase mode printing using LW-PLA.

I always like the hybrid ideas, 3d printing portions of an FT build seems like a great idea!

Wow..... that looks stunning. If I was to build a racer then I would 3D print the parts. No Posterboard where I am.....
