FT Spear Really Fun to Fly

I got my scratch built Spear done today (I got sidetracked on other projects and it sat in a bag for a few months) and went out to fly it. After my not great flights with the FT Arrow (that I broke in half on a...uh...let’s call it a landing) I was expecting a disaster. But the darn thing flew beautifully! Can’t wait to go out again tomorrow. The wings are blue fanfold foam and the central section is foam board. I’m using a 2826 930Kv motor with a 9x7.5 prop. The prop barely fits between the wings. Now I just need to figure out what I’m going to paint it.

Well...I had another one of those high angle landings today, but with the efficacy of hot glue, masking tape, and an old Olive Garden gift card the Spear is back together. Hope I got everything square again.
