FT Spitfire Control throw recommendations

Hi guys,

I'm about ready to maiden my ft spitfire, but I want to know what you all use for control throws. I have the throw gauge that is on the plans. Does anyone go by that? If so what expo are you putting in? If there are any other recommendations, I would love to hear what you all have to say.

Use the throw gauge for the maiden and see how it flies for you. As far as expo, I think I used somewhere in the 35-45 range, I think. Chances are you'll adjust to fit you anyway but that should be a good start.

That's what I figured I would do. I might give it a little less expo than that just for the maiden so that reactions are better if something unexpected happens. Thanks for the advise.
