Absolutley Beautiful! I like the spinner (what size) , the prop looks a little smaller than what I use (9X6), what size is it?

Thank you! It´s a 64mm spinner and a 8x6 prop so you are correct that it is smaller.

Just Finishing up my Spitfire

Here is some picks of my spitfire. I'm just waiting for a few parts to come from HK. Need the spinner, some decals and some servo extensions.

Just wondering where you guys are mounting the battery. Seams a bit of a pain to remove the power pod each time. Mine fits in there very tight.

I ended up putting my battery (1300 mAh 3s) under the power pod and as far forward as possible (almost touching the prop) secured with a velco strap coming out and down from inside the Power pod) note: I had to mke a small slot in the bottom of the power pod to pass the connector leads through. this helped me get the proper CG,

I agree it's a tight fit and a PITA!

I usually push the pod out through the center of the fuse (with wings off) with no prop on , then connect the alierion "Y" connector and secure the pod, then wings, then prop!!!

BTW your paint job looks great! Hope it looks as good after your first "landing"
