Hi,
I'm a long-time heli pilot and got into planes about 3 months ago - so far I've built a Mini Speedster, a Mini Sportser, 3/4 of a Mini Scout (not finished) and an 80% size Spitfire, and I also have a 400mm Mustang and a 750mm Mustang (not from FT - Eachine and HK).
My absolute favourites are the Mini Sportster and the tiny Mustang, closely followed by the Spitfire (it only loses points as in scaling it down I've made it difficult to fit the batteries nicely. I find the Mini Sportster really relexing to fly - but it will still do all of the tricks (loops, rools mainly) that I can do, is really easy to (belly) land, and just FUN!!!.
I want to build something else and was going to build a full-size speed-builld Spitfire - but I love my Mini Sportster so much that a 1m version of that would be brilliant. So the question - is the full-size Sportster as fun and enjoyable as the Mini Sportster, but bigger - or does it change temperament and get more demanding???
Hope this makes sense, thanks for reading.
Cheers,
Mike
