I'm trying to work my way up to get comfortable with the Hobbyking Nemesis. If I crash this foamie it's an easy enough fix. I need to repair the Hobby king version and get all the electronics though.

That looks slick, I like the subtle colors.

You use the same Tx I do, next upgrade is going to be the Jumper T16

Used to do the DXE couldn't stand it. Had to upgrade. Now I'm using the Taranis Qx7e. I've heard good things about the jumper T16 though.

Ok so this build is just about finished. Very happy with how its turned out. 1st time doing minwax and the paint went on very well. Also made a custom landing gear strut to make it look a bit more scale. I though the stock part was too long. Need to do a few finishing touches and get my 10x7-3 prop on it. Mark out battery positions and fit a reciever. Then I'll be waiting for good weather and will be looking for some help with the maiden. I think I'll try and design some 3d printed wheel pants in the mean time.

Sure,

I went and updated them to have the necessary reinforcement in the fuse and wings. Let me know if you have any questions. I don't have anything labeled but it should be somewhat obvious what most of it is. I made the gear from 1/8" aluminum sheet but you could probably go thinner or do something else entirely. I would also say that it would be wise to add extra reinforcement where the gear is placed as this had some deformation after a few rough landings. Also attached the STL for the pants I had made. You can use this with 2.75" wheels and some 1/4" bolts if you chose. If you make one please share.

I checked and found that both the ESC and Motor failed on mine. Apparently 4s 10x7x3 blade prop is too much for the rimfire 0.15 and 40A ESC... Wish i would have got some video.

Got the latest revision of my motor mount printed. I need to finish up the fuselage and then I'll start cutting. Trying to move the tail servos inside to reduce drag but not alot of working room.

Well that just about does it. Need to connect the servos for the ailerons and finish up the hatch. Probably go ahead and paint it before the maiden since the weather isnt looking to great the next few days.. hopefully I wont have to much of an issue with balancing. I should probably move the wing forward about 1/4 inch or so in the plans.

I will try and get some video but chances are it will be just a blur past the 2-3 second mark based on the way its mighty mini predecessor flew.

I did a lot to reduce drag on this version and make things a bit more stable so I can imagine based on the video of my mighty mini F-82 which is quite a bit larger and easier to track in the sky although still near impossible to see well in the video the best way to see this fly will be to make your own.

So who wants to build one? I would like to have someone make a beta version before I post the plans. (3d printer is required for the nose/wingtips/canopy/etc..)
