FT Tiny Tutor Turbo Wing

Hi Guys and Girls,

firstly love Flite Test, been watching since the beginning, great stuff
built a few planes now (all scratch builds), purchased power packs, great shop great delivery even here in Australia

scratch building the FT Mini Tutor with the turbo wing

question: would it be an advantage to put dihedral on the turbo wing?

seems to work well on my mini spitfires, 4 channel

The turbo wing is meant for maneuverability. Adding dihedral would increase stability but reduce maneuverability. If you want stability, I would go with the normal wing, it’s very nice. It gives some good extra float compared to the turbo wing too. I guess if you want the ailerons, but you also want more stability, then you could either add dihedral to the turbo wing or add ailerons to the normal wing. I would prefer the latter.
