I actually didn't cut out the slot at all, I didn't extend the elevons past the rudders either and the motor mounted to the rear of the plane.

Like two layers of FB? No just ironed and one layer. I will tell what it doesn't need is the auxiliary rudder, doesn't do much for the flight characteristics

Okay thanks, no go on the rudder, huh. It worked good on the mini, but might not handle the size that well.

Vstab's are dry fitted, roll of tape for scale. After I finish printing some other stuff I'm going to 3d print a motor mount and then I'll start glueing things together.

Yea I put lots of throw into and applied it slowly in either direction and not much happening

I printed out a motor mount for the vector, and did a quick dry fit in the plane. I'm thinking of painting the fuse blue before I glue in the motor. I'm a little tired so I'm not going to do any work on this tonight, might just do some work on the Mosquito. I'm gonna try to get it ready to fly for next weekend.

Yeah, lighter and stiffer, HG is a little rubbery when it dries, and I wanted this section of the fuse to be stiff. It's a 3536 motor.

Painted the fuse, glued in the motor, installed the canards, and mounted the wing. I must have messed up a measurement somewhere because as of right now there isn't enough room to put on the prop...
