Did you happen to see his walk thru of his shop? You could sleep 6 in there and still have room to film a build video and not interfere with someone flying the sim on his big screen in there. the perfect man cave / dog house. Would not mind getting banished to there every once in a while myself.

Yes I remember it looking like an excellent build to house all of his builds and buys.

Hmm I wonder why I haven’t been getting notifications for this thread... It doesn’t matter now however since I just read through a months worth of posts lol. I finally got the fly at the new field and met some awesome club members. I have a cool video that my friend Kyle and I shot there the other day.

I just saw it now, (I really need to get YT studio back on my phone). I like the idea but since Kyle is pretty inexperienced as of now I think it would be a good idea to have me fly mode 1 and him stay flying in mode 2 and see who could fly longer.

Found these on clearance today at Wal-Mart. 2000 mah 2S batteries. $5 each. Had to grab them, but don't know what I'll use them for yet. I'll need to put some xt-60 connectors on them too.

No so much flying this weekend, but i did take some wings with me. Got some nice views, so worth the drive and hike. No quite enough wind and recovery would have been "exciting". This is Goat Rock in california.

Also tried out some bungees in my buddies car, it worked great, just need a little bit stiffer bungees and some "keepers" to stop the wings from sliding around on the bungees.

I've got four other "convert to electric" projects already that need more structural rebuilding too (that I really like doing) and a serious lack of hangar space. Since this one is flight ready unlike my other basket cases I hope it will be easier to find it a new home

Greetings!
As you know I will most likely never attend a flitefest but if I was in your position I would spec out the electric conversation and gather the bits to take with the plane to flitefest.

Once there I would offer it for sale as is and if no immediate takers I would make it a feature for the visitors by doing the conversation in any spare time. Documentation would occur for posting on the forum from flitetest of course and once the maiden is accomplished the unit is returned to static display and labelled with its sale price.

I am sure that someone at flitetest would just love to own such a beautiful ship!

Got some birds in the air today! That primejet flies like a turd. It was basically free with a hobby king purchase. She will be dismantled. The grunjet flies beautifully. Grifflyer did a great job with it. Lil stick always flies nice. Over 200 flights on her. And now that the switchback sport is dialed in she flies suberbly!
