Arrrrgh, just realized that the left wingtip is broken, gonna have to fix it with a coupla skewers.

I want this to fly SOOOO bad, But I want the electronics out of it for my Hotliner. I'm thinking the 3536 1750kv motor, 80a esc, 5.25x8 apc prop. and a 6s Lipo. (for the hotliner, not this)

I am going to have to get a 6S lipo for testing my 6S drone that i have coming in to resell, and I might have to see if I can stick it in my NNSpitfire......

Didn’t fly😕. Too thin of airfoil and no dihedral. Thankfully fuselage is fine. Gonna redesign the wing and give it another shot! And I’m gonna run it in a lighter power system. (No longer going for speed on this one). Maybe @Houndpup Rc can get @nerdnic to join us in a speed challenge.😜

Ok, v2 wing done. Fuselage is a bit worse for wear, but oh well. I’ve found cg already, so I just needed to hook up aileron control rods and then fly it!

man, just found this thread…what a great build on the first round of what you posted. man your computer skills are insane.

i grew up in like a carpenter/welder world, so we all learned to fabricate with our hands, right in front of us….so for me, seeing the computer images of you designing this thing is like 🤯

you might as well be working for nasa is how my brain see this…

when you say it didnt fly? what happen?

no gyro or gyro?

i am asking as to compare with stuff i built and had issues with…not to attempt to fight or say some stupid bs fyi.

Yeah he doesn't generally use gyros and I am trying to get off them, he it didn't have enough airfoil and he is going to add dihedal to add stability....
He is getting there! (I wouldn't like doing that for a living though....Just for fun.)

Pretty well too, was a tad tail heavy, so motor mount came off on rough landing, but hey, I finally got it to fly!
