Well, on initial launch you need the throttle, but then I normally back off so the torque roll doesn’t kill it, and so it can gain some airspeed 😂
The battery was pushed all the way to the front and cg was a tad nose heavy. I was only at 25ish % throttle, but I told my buddy throw it at a steep angle. So I think it looked like it stalled on the launch from my perspective. The video is not the best and slowed down to 50%. I think if I gave it more throttle on the launch I could of got more altitude and then backed off to possible recover. That torque roll is pretty crazy. Got lucky with just a smashed nose and battery. Will fix it and try it again next Sunday though. Working on a launch system off my monster legacy now too, but that's still a few weeks away.

Yeah, I also kept trying to launch at too steep an angle last year resulting in the same thing...

I will also be dropping down a prop size too. I had a 9x6 on it, but I will be going with a 8x6 next time. The 9 was what I was using on my speed bronco (with the same motor setup), but I forgot to take in the factor that dual counter rotating motors canceled the torque roll in that.

It's the 3536 1780kv. I think the Radjet will pry be the torqueist (if that's not a word it should be) plane I've flown. Even my Eflite V1200, which is a bear at take off, isn't that much. I think less angle and less prop will help on the Radjet.

Ah nice! Yeah, I agree that that would sure be easier to launch..But to beat @Mr Man you gotta do what ya gotta do!🤣🤣
