Yup! Hoping to run some down the length (Should have done it while it was open🤦‍♂️) to make sure it doesn't fold.

It's really nice this thing is made in sections, as the worst damage was to the nose section which I can just cut at the seam, cut out a new piece and glue it back together!

And I guess I didn't glue the canopy on good enough as its not attached to the front section anymore! (Makes it easier for repairs!)

i wish you well! mine never flew like new after a serious repair. especially nose damage, couldn't get the thrust correct

Are you gonna change the position of the elevator servo to the top, or just reinforce the rod?

Yeah, same here but thankfully the motors are on the wings at a spot with no damage, so the thrust angle should be fine👍 (Also I find with bigger plane damage doesn't effect flight so much)

Nice! Believe it or not, I have only been flying no gyro for less than a year! (But I practiced a LOT in the sim and flew quite a bit this last summer. If you have any questions or tips be sure to sure them!😁👍

Welcome! I recommend the FT Simple Scout as a first plane. The more you fly, the better you get! (Once you get past the flight jitters 😂)
