I am going to do a second entry of a 64" Radjet!....Still not sure how I am going to launch it, but I will do the right thing and build it first and worry later! 😂
So far I have gotten the wing plans pasted together and one half of the wing cut out and assembled....You can see the difference compared to a regular radjet!
Strips of scrap wood from woodworking shops. You'll probably get lucky and find the perfect size. Free.
Random aluminum strips and tube found at your local metal recycling yard. Probably free.
Square wooden dowels are cheap in the craft row at Walmart.
You could maybe join 2 arrow shafts together with a sleeve. Take that one step farther and you have removable wings.
I used a 2x3” dtfb box spar with campfire skewers (~32” x 1/4” dia.) in the corners with an accordion diagonal truss going from the center, for my 12’ ws.
Rain gutter.
