Got the wing cut out and started. Didn't finish it cause I want to give some more thought into strength, and how to connect the three pieces. So went on to build the two tail booms. Since I'm out of foam until 1st of December, gonna make the wiring and build a thrust stand. Pretty smooth going so far (knock on wood).

Curious to see how the Flerken-style clips work out for you on the wing. Neat idea.

Me too. Not for strength at all, but hopefully will keep the wing from fluttering (not sure if that's the right term but I'm going with it). Put the plate on the other side to keep it from popping out.

Need to reinforce the tail booms, put the bottom fuselage on, then start the electronics. Think I'm gonna go with two 5065's rather than the 4250's.

3d printed parts finished. Motor tests this weekend, then final assembly. Won't be a water plane. I Live in Southwest with no water around me. So I'll just put some wheels on it.

Just waiting on some 19" propellers and she's is ready to fly. She's freaking huge. Big difference between the two ducks.

Wow, that's amazing! (I know that pictures just don't do the real thing justice!)

They really don't. That's a queen size bed too. Will be around 18 lbs with batteries.

Props have come in. Don't have the energy to paint this beast, so dollar store reflective tape it is.

She is done and flown. Flew great except for the pilot error at the end. She will be repaired and fly again.
