Wow that looks amazing. I guess that DXF works. Lol. And looks to be an excellent etch cut as well.

I can only imagine what trouble i would get into with one of these laser cutters. looks like its easy to move things around. I see that you have both wing spars on that sheet. I was thinking if i got a bit creative i could nest it all in 5 sheets but whats 1 more sheet.

LOL, Yeah, I'm trying, but I think it will still be 5 1/2 sheets.

I have to change colors to match my settings on some of the objects, but it's easy to do.
I hope you don't mind..... I'm going to try my hand at a round "nose".
Go for it.
I will say that i modified the fuselage and nose to make the transition to the boxy fuselage better for a rounded nose. I think you can do it with V1.5 but it will take some creativity.
Edit: Also the cowling pieces will be entirely different.

I have to say the fit of the parts are really good. Shows a lot of time was put into the design.
So i definitely had this as a single piece planned but you beat me too the punch nice job! I see the nose formers are circles too.

Looking good so far. Cant wait to see how your rounded nose turns out. Do you plan on using the V 1.5 cowling with the folds? Would be interesting to see this way and easier than what i have planned with the leading edge rolled as well instead of 45° bends.

Looking good so far.
I think I will have to just roll the cowling so it matches the nose.

If you would like to try v2.0 cowling here is the dxf. Untested but if you roll these pieces and chamfer the LE ring i think it will work.

The concept works, however not long enough to go over the nose. I'm working to fix that though.

That looks great!
I will have to look into why it was too small since 'a' looks to be way too small from your picture. I guess let me know how snug the power pod is with your nose. Your nose may just be larger?

I used your nose, just took out the fold lines. The outside of the cowling is the same as before ( with B)
