sorry that noone could enter.
I guess making challenges is not my thing. oh well. I will exstend the deadline to april 31st though.
I might have entered if having the motor at the nose was allowed in the initial rules. I think it would be easier to satisfy the trainer-like requirement that way. I'd rather bend or break an easily replaceable $2 prop than smash in the nose and have to rebuild it from scratch.

But I probably wouldn't be someone you'd want in your challenge anyway. I have a ... habit ... of entering challenges and then running out of time because I was working on a different project or over-engineering a plane and only finding out when I build it that it's extremely tail heavy and a menace to society. :)

you know what, go ahead try out your design, Its just that, like the props that i have, are more than 2 dollars each, and it is possible to make a crash resistent nose to some extent, but it is not possible to make a crash resistant propeller. and if you have enough time, maybe make a conversion to make it like the cree cree, 2 motors at the front for more power for stunts for example?

No one has really done anything for this challenge, so I am leaning towards closing it. if I get atleast 4 more people except for @The Hangar that are keeping up with their build and willing to put up some photos, then I will keep it going, and the deadline, as in the poll, is march 31st.

I've been making basic plans for mine, I'll probably start building today. I can put up photos then!

Hello everyone, I have an update on my build. it flies pretty nicely but barely has enough power to lift off from the grass on a 2s 1800mah, and on the two motor setup. I crashed it yesterday and the tt 4ch wing folded in half, I want to use the tt3ch wing. do I need ailerons if I use differential thrust? I do not have a 3s battery or charger for it also. what should I do? the only other batterry I have is a 2s 850.

diffirential thrust is like rudder, so with the 3ch wing it could work.
ok. thanks. It is a little heavy though. I do not know how to make a master series plane lighter, but am thinking of changing the design completely. before I had a uc-1 twin bee

, and now am thinking of the lower wing beriev be103, but am confused how to make a proper wing of that shape 1615224650674.jpg any recommendations would be happy to accept

This is the progress for now. Thinking of where to place the humps with the skinny things.

not skinny, spinning. But it is ready for a maiden. This is my submission into my own challenge. Did not get a maiden out yet.

The tail turned out to be too small, so I'm going to have to figure something else out for that.

really like it. need to edit my plans, but after that I am more than happy as it basically flew if I adjust the thrust angle, I will be good. took barely 2 hours to build counting cutting it all out. hope your submission is going well. I think htat this challenge will just go into @Hondo76251's challenge. I think you should post your amazing updates there. but btw that plane that I was talking about broke every set of wings it got, so I decided to throw it away and settled on a 1 motor version. it is simple, and flies nicely. that is what I talked about in the begginning of this post.
