If you heat it you might be able to stretch the foam allowing the paper side to bend inwards with out wrinkling the paper. ( you take off the paper on the other side and heat the foam directly)

Yeah, I know how to form foam the way John Overstreet does. ( I built a whole Master Series P - 38 Lighting )

Started on my FT Goblin! Putting paint on my NNspit.

Gotten a lot of progress on my FT Goblin!
Got everything cut out.
Got the wings joined.
Nice clean bevel cut!
Spar installed.
Both wings glued and folded.
Wing halves joined.
Started on fuselage.
Fire wall, ESC and motor installed.
Control horn installed.
reinforced spot where the nose will meet with hot glue.
Started on the nose.
Nose done.....Not as clean as I would have liked but not bad. Definitely the hardest part in the build.
Also had a gap I don't want in there.........But it will help with cooling!😆
Got the front on for my FPV cam mount..
I wasn't totally planning on flying this without a gyro, but I forgot to install it before I glued the bottom on so I guess I am flying it without the gyro!

I’ve never been able to make a perfect nose, and I’ve built 4. Nice job!

When I am ready to scrap mine I am going to put a 3536 1800kv on it and see what it can really do!!!!! Hoping to do a video on it!

I think it's happening because when I sanded it a didn't wipe of the dust afterward. Shame shame shame

NN Spitefire done! Not tooo bad for all the trouble I had with the paint job!
Couple spots that didn't turn out so well....
I had to do some fixing with a paint brush, but over all I think it turn out quite good!
I really like the way that my homemade decals turned out! They really make it pop more!

Looks fast. Is that the canopy in the plans?

No, off of Grizwiz's Spitefire. I couldn't use the one that come in the plans because I accidentally made the part where the canopy goes wrong. No big deal!

Scaled the canopy up to 150% to make it the right size.
