A lot of progress yesterday and today. I got almost all the remaining electronics installed in the Ghost. My scale is acting up a bit but the weight is somewhere between 2300 g and 2900 g. The sum of the projected part weights is 2758 g so I think it's probably about that. I needed to add 150g of nose weight to get it to balance even with all the changes, so I'm very glad it has the swept wings.

The retract units were a bit different than those I designed for (I pulled them out of a Freewing F9F I found in the trashcan at my club field) and the nose unit was a bit damaged, so I needed to jury rig a steering arm since the 3D printed arm didn't quite fit.

I also have the nose of the 4s F-106 assembled now. Nothing too crazy and the design is identical to the 3s version where I already fixed the printing issues, so they print quickly and flawlessly.

And finally, I printed the nose gear for my MiG 15. Again, a pretty simple design. It's pretty short for a normal nose gear strut but it has about enough room to do everything it needs to.

Only a month after the end of the competition, but I finally was able to progress the build of my MiG 15 a bit.

And I also finally did the maiden flight of the Ghost, though no video yet. Overall, it's superb and performs better than I expected, but there are some minor fixes and repairs to make

Got the MiG 15 pretty much done. As always, it's a bit heavier than I'd like, but it balances perfectly and should still have plenty of power.

Wind was gusting up to 30 mph this weekend, so no video of the Ghost yet unfortunately
