Futaba 6EX TX Futabla R617FS

Hey Gang

I have purchased a Futaba 6EX RC and have question with regard to connecting servos. Up until this point I've used a simple Hobby King 6 Channel RC and have connected it the following way;

1 Aileron
2 Elevator
3 Throttle/UBEC
4 Rudder

Do I connect the Futaba in the same way?

Hi Jim

Thanks for the reply. I am still having problems. I have connected everything up as shown but I am unable to get the motor to work. It goes through it's start up sequence but then nothing.

Hey Gang

Well I have spent the last couple of hours trying to solve this with no success. What have I learnt? Well every servo bar the throttle works fine. I have tried using a different UBEC and experienced the same problem. In fact when I plug a UBEC into Channel 3 it will automatically enter programming mode. This suggests to me that TX thinks the throttle stick is forward.

Just an update. It was suggested to me to reverse channel 3 and this has resolved the problem. Relieved.
