Futaba Center Point

Having an interesting issue with four different Futaba T16IZ radios. When I go to calibrate the gimbals, they calibrate well when it comes to range of motion, but decide that the center point is +5 instead of 0. Anyone have any feedback or have observed this issue?

When calibrating the sticks are you using a light touch I know on my Specktrum DX9 and my RadioMaster TX16s if I push too hard on the stick my calibration is always off?

Pushing too hard flexes the stick gimbal assembly just a wee bit, annddd centering was a futaba issue even back in the 60's. Our fix was a spring transplant from a click ballpoint pen, but that made the stick feel odd. In the '00s, you could steal the centering springs from a gamer joystick. I suggest living with it, you can always change centering with a click of trim
