Ok, I’ve been using Onshape for my P-40, and so far it looks good.

How did you unwrap the skins for it turned out very nice!

How did you unwrap the skins for it turned out very nice!

I've been using a mixture of the Onshape Flatten tool and Inkscape.

The sheet metal unfold tool, or is it an new one in the professional version?

In the Bottom Right Hand corner there is this.

It's good at unfolding half of a skin, and then I just mirror that in Inkscape.

I Export in DXF because It's easier to work with in Inkscape than SVG.

I flew the Gee Bee yesterday, It flies very well, and I had no issues. I will post a video once I fly it again.
I am going to compile the plans for version one soon and post them. I have plans of making a version two, as there are some things that I would like to change, but for now the Gee Bee is finished and I am very happy with the result.

I found it, thank you so much. Before I was exporting from Onshape, importing to blender, unwrapping, importing to inkscape, changing the file type, exporting to onshape, tracing out the pattern, then importing back to inkscape for ERC cutting. This will save SO much time.

No problem! It is actually very accurate, @CrshNBrn built my P-40 and it turned out amazing!
