Giant Scale - Builds:

I'm just thinking I would like to have a plan ready to implement when I get the foam... at an est. $9/sheet I would like to conserve on Costs
I also would like to see Successful flight, and not a dud. we have a fun fly event at my local field that I would very much enjoy having something like this ready for.
3D would be easy, but I am not the pilot for it. the asymmetrical design is RIGHT up my alley, but a bit too risky for big foam...

I Giant Old Fogey would be fun:unsure:

Here are some pictures of my 65% Pitts S1 build, I'm still working on it, the specs are wingspan 126" its almost true scale. i estimate the flying weight around 40 lbs and powered by a 150cc brushless electric motor.

@billyshaw22 I like your plan storage technique. and that is one SERIOUS motor. how heavy are the finished craft? oh, I see, 40lbs... what's the battery situation like... few of us here have even glimpsed into this realm.

i wish rimfire would make a bigger motor, they have been my go to motors! This plane is set up for 14s 10,000mah, basically four 6s 5000. as far as weight i don't have that yet, i'm still finishing it, but my estimate is around 40 lbs. i am in the middle of building a 12 foot candy drop plane right now, but when i get it done i will go back to the pitts and get it finished up.
