Giant Scale - Builds:

No he hasn't
Okay, so it was a giant twin gasser and his dad spent 1 or 3 years building it I don't completely remember. Anyway on like the 10th flight it crashed and the whole thing was destroyed. They gave the motors to someone else who could never get them running.

Amazing planes....I'd like to know about the foam. Is that insulation foam you cut to your desired thickness?

Who was trying to do rolling harriers with it, him or his dad? :ROFLMAO:

@speedbirdted - is that a spruce Gander?
@cgoffroad - Merci
For those who Don't know...Monster Maker foam is 3/8 thick, 30"x40" (creased in half to 30x20). there are 25 in a box. It is water resistant, and translucent (great for LEDS). My local hobby shop is getting some for us to buy by the sheet.

I have two of something like these with the props and escs. This means I have around 20 lbs of push on whatever I build.
I'm thinking two things... either a Large 747 with parasite craft. pusher style or the Crimson Skies heaven's spades carrier.

She flew well before the motor failure and the first flight on the new motor was pretty solid except that I didn't land with enough power on and flipped her. I've already fixed the landing gear and adjusted to give it more flex and I'll look at the popped flying wires tonight. I may have her back in the air this weekend depending on weather. I'm convinced with just a bit of tweaking and a few more flights so I can get the feel for her she'll be flying great :)

Were you able to take her to flightfest Frend?
