Okay, so it was a giant twin gasser and his dad spent 1 or 3 years building it I don't completely remember. Anyway on like the 10th flight it crashed and the whole thing was destroyed. They gave the motors to someone else who could never get them running.No he hasn't
ROFLCan you even fly that? It's not a 3D plane
I would love to have that, for someone to just give it to you thats amazing
Who was trying to do rolling harriers with it, him or his dad?Okay, so it was a giant twin gasser and his dad spent 1 or 3 years building it I don't completely remember. Nope...Who was trying to do rolling harriers with it, him or his dad?
Hey there was a mustard video on this if you haven’t seen it I’d recommend checking it out very interesting@speedbirdted - is that a spruce Gander?
@cgoffroad - Merci
For those who Don't know...Monster Maker foam is 3/8 thick, 30"x40" (creased in half to 30x20). there are 25 in a box. It is water resistant, and translucent (great for LEDS). My local hobby shop is getting some for us to buy by the sheet.

I have two of something like these with the props and escs. This means I have around 20 lbs of push on whatever I build.
I'm thinking two things... either a Large 747 with parasite craft. pusher style or the Crimson Skies heaven's spades carrier.

but I like what I'm seeing.
I know my bit late but this Hass to be one of the most beautiful foam planes I have ever seenhere is my old cap 232, i built this back in 2015 its 103" wingspan and was powered by a turnigy 1.60 brushless. i had this at flite fest after i got it done, it flew great
What a fantastic collection of builds. Fabulous stuff!I missed this thread when it came out but now that its been bumped I figured I'd share a few of my larger scratchbuilt foam models.

Were you able to take her to flightfest Frend?She flew well before the motor failure and the first flight on the new motor was pretty solid except that I didn't land with enough power on and flipped her. I've already fixed the landing gear and adjusted to give it more flex and I'll look at the popped flying wires tonight. I may have her back in the air this weekend depending on weather. I'm convinced with just a bit of tweaking and a few more flights so I can get the feel for her she'll be flying great

hey….. what if we did a community build on that bird and all the jets inside of it for flight fest 2023???@speedbirdted - is that a spruce Gander?

You have a gift dudeHere are some pictures of my 65% Pitts S1 build, I'm still working on it, the specs are wingspan 126" its almost true scale. i estimate the flying weight around 40 lbs and powered by a 150cc brushless electric motor.
I mean I may or may not make it but the super sportster is done and I have some extra timehey….. what if we did a community build on that bird and all the jets inside of it for flight fest 2023???
