Gimmie what you want to be designed

Ive built my fair share of foamboard models and I think my time to design them has come. Give me what you want to see a plan of and I’ll try my best to come up with that, weather it’s real or fiction. I’m not the most well versed in electronics so if you wanna make one for yourself you might need to mess around a little but I’ll be doing most of the heavy lifting. Can’t wait to see what you guys got planned!

Also if theres Is already a plan for something then it’s unlikely I’ll get to it so keep that in mind

I wanna slowly try out different CAD softwares with each build. I got free cad, onshape and fusion. I used to come up with stuff on blender too and that worked out pretty well

I like using Onshape for designing planes 👍

That would actually be pretty simple to make but I'll do it after the Saab plane

Yeah, I used to use FreeCAD but I switched to Onshape and it's soooo much better!

Yeah, I used to use FreeCAD but I switched to Onshape and it's soooo much better!

The only reason I haven't used much of onshape yet is because your files arent private but since im gonna give these plans out for free I'll probably check it out again

I'll throw one out there and see where it takes you. Anything Atompunk. If you are not familiar, add "punk" to any era and now it is a look and feel that doesn't actually have to have existed. So use your imagination for anything from the opening to the close of the Cold War.

Good idea I have seen a few nuclear powered Zeppelin designs and I might go with something like that or come up with my own concept of bomber like the myascachev m 50 lol

I'm working on the saab 340 rn and the only thing im having trouble with is the vertical stabilizer.

I wanna keep the deihedral but I'm kinda confused on how to make the elevators move together. I wanna try something with wire but I think it might mess things up. Of anybody has an idea im all ears!

I would do dual push rods like @nerdnic did with some of his planes.

I agree with Houndpup, you could also use a bent wire similar to @Alp’s AT6 Texan

depending on the over all size of the model you might want to just use two servos.
