I think im gonna go with thr ft edge. Im lazy and it has a c pack motor so i can always build Mr Man’s extra instead and come back to it later. Im not going to get it now tho, gonna practice on the sim more
Me personally when starting to fly 3D again I would start with a flat wing foamy, as you are going to make many flight interruptions from ground source. Flat wings can take this with out dealing with repairs each time mostly because they are light and slow flying. Slow is the best when learning to fly 3D it does not carry the weight needed for some 3D maneuvers they will do it just not the way a heaver plane will. The simpler the better when learning the Value Hobby G-202 is the best in their lineup handles wind like a champ and flies well for the price range.
I’ve been learning to hover recently in this plane. I’m having way better luck on it than any previous plane I tried. I increased the throws a lot and made it more tail heavy which helped. I also fly without the landing gear.
It’s not the prettiest plane, but it’s $50 and works pretty well!
http://rc-aviation.ru/sloika-c-obemnoe-krilo My friend loved this model very much.He made stencils and cut out up to 10 sets for acquaintances in the evening. I've made this model 3 times, but once I made this model with a three-dimensional wing with a symmetrical profile....This model simply walked across the sky and easily executed figures at low speed.
An engine different from the recommended one can be installed on any model: the new engine must have the same or greater thrust and size. The center of gravity is adjusted by changing the position of the battery, and for the inexperienced - with additional lead weights in the tail. The main thing is the flight weight!!
