I think if I remember the specs of the first GoPro this one has now an HDMI output AND 11Megapixels!!!

So from 5 up to 11 that is a massive imrpovement!!

I´m thinking about getting it, because the price for that is just unbeatable!
Will take me some time to save the money for it, as a student

the problem here is that the Norwegian tax system will make it cost 499 usd for me -.- , that's so retarded....

With the taxsystem that´s bad :/ I dunno about the GoPro 2 yet. Need to do a comparison and evaluation of which one to get.

I think that the new Gopro is quite heavy.

Does anyone know the weights?

On the Homepage I think it says something about 150 grams, which is quite a lot. how about the old one?

i just asked because i lived halv a year in germany and stuff...
well anyway back to topic, the old one: Weight: 3.3oz (94g) incl. battery, 5.9oz (167g) incl. housing
its about the weight of a cellphone, so its light enough for a medium sized aircraft..

Ahh okay. So I suppose the newer GoPro might be even lighter, than the first one if the same housing was used.
