Great price on that screen! Watch out for screens that go blue when signal is jittery instead of displaying a less than perfect image.
I have a friend who used Panasonic portable DVD players (12V battery powered) for entertaining his kids when he traveled. I received 2 inoperative ones from him which I was able to fix. The sweet thing is that they have a video IN connection and work great with the camera. The screen is a bit over 8" diagonal and certainly useable for the price (FREE).

I have this exact eBay one, and it is awesome ! Screws right on a tripod ! 7" is perfect ..

Burg : Glad to hear it works. This is exactly why I wanted to try it out.
Tritium :The portable DVD I have works great but is quite bulky and awkward to mount on a tripod.
Now that I have completely hijacked the thread, let us know how the cameras work out.
