Help! Has this happened to you with the ft 3d?

I have an ft 3d which has lived trough a total of 7-8 flights with a total of two repairs. The first one was because of a badly balanced prop, the motor came off because of vibrations. It was not a hard repair. However, the very next day at the field it nosedive into the ground. After a minute of wondering we found out the elevator pushrod was bent resulting in aconstant down elevator, flight duration 0.5s. It lived with "just" a broken wing and firewall. Today I went out and flew two flights and it cooled down well between them. When I landed and went to collect the plane the motor with the firewall were down, somehow unglued/broken.The landing was a bit rough. I think that the hot glue melted from the heat but I'm not sure. Has this happened to you and do you have any ideas what to glue it with? Also the power pod is my own design cuz I could not find plans, idk if that helps

Here's a video of how to build the standard power pod. You can use the same techniques to secure the firewall to your custom power pod. The key thing is to not just use glue, but to also wrap it with tape very tightly and neatly. I think most of the strength actually comes from the tape. If you have reinforced packaging tape then that's even better.
