Review:
GearBest.com sent along a rather nice camera.
I'm still in the middle of testing but so far I'm impressed.
The sound actually works really well on this Q6.
4K and 2.5 testing still in the works but I tend to shoot everything at 1080/30 and have had no issues.
I still need to do an endurance recording on the battery. Might need a 32GB card for that.
The unit also ships with a video out adaptor for FPV. I'll have to test the latency and report back.
Really my only issues with the camera so far are the lack of a proper tether and you have to pay close attention to the SD card slot. The ejection spring is rather powerful and you run the risk of losing the sd card in the field. I put a piece of tape over mine.
Over all I'm please with the Q6. It feels as light as my tiny 720 camera but has better audio and video then some of the recent cameras in this form factor I've tested.
Video:
Onboard footage with the FT Arrow
Onboard footage with the Durably Tundra
Initial Thoughts (Friday Flying Update)
Improved video settings do make a difference
