Hello from NoVA

New guy here from Virginia USA looking to get into RC flying. Kind of fell into a youtube hole of multirotor, drone, and FPV videos and somehow got to the FT channel. I am hooked. My experience only extends to RC tanks & Air Hogs heli's and now looking to step it up. Totally into DIY'n this whole thing. Already printed out the plans for the versa & mini arrow and next paycheck I'm getting power packs.

I'll fail, but I'm sure I'l have fun doing so.

Same here from NoVA, totally fell into this youtube hole as well and I'm hooked too. Already ordered a versacopter and power pack. Just need to build it and hopefully not crash it. Also picked up a simple trainer quad today today to start getting used to flying. Once I can at least and make a lap of some sort I'll start looking for meetups to improve the hobby. Only problem is theres a no drone zone 30 miles around DC so flying safe will take some logistics but oh well anything fun is never easy.
