Hey Everyone,
I a new noob to the forum but not new to Flite Test. Have been following the Youtube channel for quite some time now. Very much enjoy the content and has brought me around the idea of foam board aircraft.
In the UK, that's a bit of a problem given weather (especially now!), but I have my BMFA 'A' certificate out of the way so I plan to work on some of my own designs in foam board and see where that takes me.
I'm a structural engineer in aerospace, spent my teens in the Air Training Corps and was lucky enough to leave with over a 100 hours in Vigilants, Bulldogs and Tutors, aswell as a scholarship to solo at a Civilian Flying School. I flew gliders at the university Gliding club and have made aircraft since I could hold a paintbrush. In short I am an Aero Nerd through and through!
