Help guys! I need some tips for building a multi rotor!

Hello guys!
I am a beginner and I am looking to build my first ever multi rotor. I am going to use this multi rotor mostly for aerial cinematography/ photography with a GoPro Hero 3. These are the parts I have picked. I just need some suggestions/ tips before I go buy all these and put them together.

Frame: DJI Flamewheel F450
(Already Bought)

Flight controller: DJI Naza M Lite

Unless that dji controller comes with a reciever, which the product page doesn't indicate, you will need to buy one compatible with that controller. You'll also need a suitable xt60 connecter and wire to go to that power distribution board that comes with the motor kit. Those you'll have to solder on. The NAZA-m Lite comes with a power inverter that can take a wide variety of batteries and connects to the Naza-m Lite providing power. This will also power your radio receiver.

As for receivers, you can use sbus or pwm. I personally am using a Turnigy 9x. There are videos on youtube that show how to set it up.

Can you program the Failsafe thing onto the Turnigy 9x transmitter ?

You will need to buy or make some landing skids tall enough to have clearance for the gimbal, something like this:

That controller comes with a sbus reciever.

You might be able to solder that plug directly onto the power distribution board, but if not, you'll want some 12awg silicone insulated wire. Won't need a lot.

So your battery will have the male end and your power distribution board (PB) will have the female half. The PB is the small round thing in the power pack you are getting. You will need to solder the female XT60 connector to that so that you can connect a battery to your quad so it can get power. The PB will then distribute power to the ESC's.

It's a High Crab Landing skids or gear. I think this is what you are looking for they are retractable as well so you can set the landing gear switch on your transmitter and when switched they swing up and out of the way.

How would I program the landing gears to retract on my transmitter? are there enough switches on the transmitter that I'm getting? Or should I buy a different transmitter?

And, could you suggest some other landing sleds? They don't have to be retractable. I found some on eBay but I have no idea which one is good for this build.
