Can anyone help me with a weird rx motor issue? It's for a flying wing, and i cant get the motor to engage with throttle input from my qx7, but, it will engage in an output test in iNAV. All the control surfaces work with input from the controller. it has me stumped. I am using a omnibus F4 V5 and a Frsky X8R with a PDB.

In iNav configuration page, have you enabled motor and servos?
If you have a GPS attached and configured in iNav you will not be able to arm the planes motors until you have a 3D fix from GPS.

I have tried calibrating the ESCs according to what I have read online. also with INAV i have disabled most of the arming protocols in CLI in regards to nav n such so that I may arm it. However, after reading more about the calibration process after you mentioned it. I dont think it is doing all the beeps that it should be doing. like, it does its little jingle, but theres no two beeps to tell me to lower the throttle or a long one after doing so. Which I think is supposed to happen when you manually calibrate the ESC.

These are the ones I have, and I have tried three of them so far. but maybe I was doing it wrong. I have literally no idea.

Usually with ESC's, now don't quote me on this and I know you said you read the instructions online, and I am just trying to get a feel for where you are at. But when you power up the ESC, your throttle stick needs to be at 100% power to get into program mode, it needs to know where your full point is, it should beep, maybe a jingle as you said or could be a longer beep, then you have 5 seconds to bring it down to 0%. This should tell your ESC what your throttle range is. If you don't pull it down it will go into the next step of programing, like a voltage cut off, or cell count, etc. The most important one will be the first step, without that one the rest won't fall into place.

Hope this helps and if not we can go through it and collaborate to help you solve it. Again welcome to the forum family

Just checked out the link you posted, the description doesn't say anything about a BEC. Are you using an external BEC?

I just read the full description and it says
BEC output:NO
You need an external BEC to power this thing up. Once you have that you should be good to go.

interdasting, ok, so, i looked at my PDB and I may have used the wrong pads to power the ESC. my PDB has a BEC onboard, I also have a UBEC volatage regulator as well. I am going to try to re-solder this up and see if that fixes it. You guys are awesome. I hope this works well, I didnt even catch that, and looking pack at the pinouts of the PDB I believe I wired up the ESC on the wrong pads. Fingers crossed hopefully. I will be so happy if this works, this project for class is due on Thursday. and I have already put so much work into it.
