Help with motors

I just got a motor and need to know what is a good esc for it the motor is a 320 watt 1400kv brushless motor a 40 amp esc but don't know which one.

Yes I think a link is the key. You might find recomended parts or something there. Otherwise hobbyking might sell something for you...
P.S. does the motor say it need a 40 amp esc or is that what you need to keep the airplane safe?

It really doesn't make a whole lot of difference which esc.
My preference in the 40a range has been these:
