Alternatively, if you can solder, one wire soldered to the back of the kk2 and plugged into your battery's balance port can get the kk2 to alarm when the battery gets low.

Its a clean solution that doesn't require any more parts to keep up with...

To use the KK2 alarm you have to solder to the board:

To use the device in the photo above, connect to the balance plug.

i think its easier to use the device above cos there is no soldering needed. But the balance plug only has 4 holes though?

The far left pin in the negative pin and the others are for each corresponding cell depending how many cells your battery has. So if it's a 3S battery there are 5 unused pins.
