Hi, need help with Flite test 40a esc

Hi all, I am new to BLHeli suite and I accidently erased the firmware on the esc while looking at the settings. I went to reflash the esc, but there were so many options (0-H-5 Multi, etc.) and the warning about flashing the wrong version. Can someone tell me what it comes installed with? Many thanks. Rob

I have 20s, 25, and 35, but not a 40.

They look like they may be rebranded Himax ESCs with a JST added for auxiliary power. I can do some digging tomorrow.

I also wanted to mention that i am planning to use the ESC in an edf jet.

Depending on the EDF, the ESC may be too small.

What EDF are you planning to use?

50mm with either a 4500kv or 4900kv motor. It will be fine for either - I tested them using a watt meter.

40A often works well with 64mm EDFs, so I bet you'll be fine

I am going to pick a pair up for my FT Bronco tomorrow. I did verify that Himax makes them for FT. I'll check the firmware after getting them

Well, I having an issue now where it won’t write to it. I’m not sure what the issue is. I can’t get the web version to work either.
Maybe it’s this dongle I’m using:

I use a flight controller and BetaFlight Passthrough mode. Been a l-o-n-g time since I used a standalone module. Probably have some old USB A ones around somewhere....

Are you getting error, and if so, can you take a screenshot?

Also, make sure you have a charged battery connected. (Props off!)
