High voltage low current speed set ups.

Hey all,
I've been promising to write this post for a while, and I finally decided to sit down and type it up.

For about 4 months I have been checking out some higher voltage power plants capable of getting a plane up to 100 mph. The test airframes have varied, as have the power plants, but I wanted to share some good high speed combos, these are in no particular order. Speeds were measured on a set course with a stopwatch out of a 10ish degree dive.

65 MPH Striker C at 300 ft:
1400 kv Turnigy 2826
APC 6X5.5 prop
1000mah 4 cell battery
14.1 amps WOT.
Strengths: Ballistic climb, loved a mobius.
Weaknesses: Short flight time.

90 MPH FT-22 at 6500 ft:
2200kv Turnigy 2826
APC 5.25x6.25 prop shaved down to 5x6.25
2000mah 4 cell battery
32 amps WOT.
Strengths: Blazingly fast, low cruise power.
Weaknesses: Poor climb.

80-90 MPH Striker C at 6500 ft:
1000 kv Turnigy 2830
APC 7x10 prop
3200 mah 4 cell or 2200 MAH 5 cell
4 cell: 9.5 amps WOT.
5 cell: 15 amps WOT.
Strengths: Very fast, long flight times.
Weaknesses: Awkward to mount, poor climb performance.
