High Winds Have Returned Daily To Western Kansas, How To Make A Bigger Champ Plane?

the way the weather is right now and for some time, it won't look like the little Champ will see air time, which is a bummer. So how does one make a large size champ that won't be blown around? Or is it trademarked and can't be done? I've got a few builds being worked on, but after seeing our forecast, thought came to mind about upsizing the Champ.

All planes get blown around but larger and heavier planes can handle it better.

As for a larger champ, why bother when you can just build a FT Simple Cub which is extremely close in layout. To make it fly and land very slowly just increase the wing incidence slightly and you will have a great all round flyer that can handle a bit of wind but not a hurricane!

have fun!
