the link I saw was the J3 cub and it was the same price as the Champ I have both versions from Horizon Hobbys and find the J3 cub flys a bit faster than the Champ both are great flyers.

Thought I post my relaxing flight up soaring high up as well. Champ is the way to go, Always a champ lover.

I'm guessing this is the thread for all things Champ, so forgive the resurrection. My 4th flight ever with the Champ (and RC planes in general) and I finally did my first successful takeoff from the ground and several intentional and into the wind landings! I'm so frakkin happy I'm finally getting it and not floundering around in the air so much.

Kudo's for the Champ and it's dihedral for being very forgiving and letting me learn without an instructor.

Another Champ first, put it on high rates and did several successful and intentional loops! Also all my landings were good as well. Just wish I could get more calm flying time instead of just an hour in the evening.
