I was perusing tonight, and I came a Hotwire 4 axis cnc cutter Tjzoide. Has anyone seen it, or better yet, used it?

It seems to have a lot of features, and I think can be a really powerful program. For the US$49 it seems worth it.

can i use the psu from a computer and just directly connect it to the wire? or do i need some sort of regulator?

I dont see why not. As long as you do not exceed the limits of the psu itself i would say it should work just fine.
