hot glue brittle in the cold

My bro recently got the CX4 blade heli. On his first flight he broke 3 blades and tryed epoxy on them. Ends up coming off in mid-air and crashing. He learned a great lesson. No epoxy on blades. Now hes waiting for more parts then just the blades
Always best to do new props rather than attempt to repair them. Props are under more stress, in many different directions, than most people realize. Especially if you like to fly around at head height! Time to shop for a face shield or body armor!

From what I hear, your problems with hot melt glue in cold environments are not uncommon.

Not an issue for me, having recently moved away from the land of cold winters, but one trick I commonly use is to use hot glue to hold parts in place while the GG cures.

Another option might be Foam-Tac. I have been reading good things about it. No experience personally, and it does seem a little expensive unless you are aiming for a really light build.
