You'd need a swappable power pod with a prop configured for pusher duty. I've seen a lot of foamie pusher prop warthogs, FRCfoamies has plans for one of the easiest ones. Swappable power pods for EDFs would be pretty hard since the location of the jets and configuration for planes with multiple jets varies so widely.

One option for a "swappable" edf is the Hoffman Magnetics Storm units, they're an integrated motor and fan in one piece. Pretty high quality though not hugely available anymore. Very demanding of a high amp ESC and high C batteries.
