Was the Lanzo Bomber actually designed as an RC plane in 1938? It has a distinctive look with some extreme dihedraling, but other than that, it's akin to a lot of modern trainer designs, and would not only make an easy foam board build, but have pretty gentle flight characteristics and make a good trainer.
